First Aid Training

red-crossFollowing the success of last year’s first aid training we are delighted to offer another session facilitated by the British Red Cross.

This free training is open to those working with children and young people in the Diocese (either employed or voluntary). Places are limited to 3 people per parish with a maximum of 20 participants in total.

Emergency Life Support Training will include:

Confidence to Act, First Aid Priorities, Unconscious Casualty, Resuscitation (Adult, Child, Baby), Use of an AED, Choking, Brief cover of Heart Attack & Strokes, Blood loss & Shock (including Bandages & Slings practice) and Burns & Scalds.

Upon successful completion of the training a certificate will be sent out in the mail.

When: Saturday 21st November 2015, 9.30am – 2pm

Where: Diocesan House, Lady Woottons Green, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 1NQ
